So I’ve just got back home after a mad 3-weeks running around America, and it’s pretty much only just sunk in that I’m moving to the Netherlands in less than 2 weeks and I am so not organised it’s unreal.
Just before I left for the US I was accepted into a MSc program run by the United Nations University institution UNU-MERIT in conjunction with the Maastricht Graduate School of Governance at Maastricht University. It’s a one-year master’s in Public Policy and Human Development that I applied for on a complete whim after stumbling across it whilst surfing the net one day not thinking in a million years that I’d actually get in. I was wrong.
Now I have about 10 days to find somewhere to live in a foreign city that I have never actually been to, work out how I’m going to get myself and all my stuff there, navigate my way through shitloads of Dutch bureaucracy, and prep my brain (which thinks it’s still on holiday) for what is apparently going to be the most hard-core year of learning of my life so far.
HEEEELLPPPP!!
